Snow in SC

It snowed ever so gently overnight. It was very white out when we got up this morning. But the sun came up and the snow was all melted by noon.

What beach is this? It looks like one I would like to retire to.
We are expecting another winter storm in CT and I am just sick of it. I want to walk on this beach by the year 2013 when we retire.

What beach is this? I am looking for a nice place to retire to and this looks so beautiful. When does spring hit? In CT we are still expecting snow tonight and I'm sick of it.

This is North Myrtle Beach, AKA Little River or Cherry Grove. We are in a nice little low rise condo. Our Real Estate is McMillan Real Estate on Main Street in North Myrtle. They are on the web. It's a good idea to get snowbird rentals for Jan-Feb-March and stay here on rental for a year to get an idea if you like the area. This is a very quiet area.

Thank you Gail for all the great info. I love the idea of a quiet area on the beach. My idea of heaven. I love your posts. I made the figgy pudding quilt out of material I found in the goodwill. A huge big bag of christmas materials that I got for $3.99. It was a fun quilt to make after doing 5 quilts for Christmas presents. I wanted something festive for myself. It is easy and has some interesting effects with the trees. You'll see. Thank you again for the wonderful info. Cynthia PS. Isn't it funny to see the parallels in life? We both like the same things, places, patterns, and we haven't even met?
